Frenkie de Jong says Barcelona still believe they can make it to the final of the Copa del Rey despite a 2-0 first-leg semi-final defeat to Sevilla.
Jules Kounde opened the scoring for the hosts, while a late strike from Ivan Rakitic means Barca have a mountain to climb in the return game at the Camp Nou.
De Jong admits it’s a tough scoreline but says his team have not given up hope yet of making another comeback.
“It’s very tough when you lose the first game 2-0, but there is still one game left,” he said.
”We thought we were going to score, we have shown that we are very strong mentally, we will see in the second leg, we believe we can reach the final.
“If we keep on working hard and we fight for everything there is. We’re going to give everything in the second game.”
