Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has been nominated for October’s La Liga Player of the Month award after another superb month from the Germany international.

The Barcelona No. 1 conceded just one goal in October in La Liga, a brilliant effort from Saul Niguez in the 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.

That was the only goal that went past Ter Stegen with the Barca keeper earning clean sheets against Las Palmas, Malaga and Athletic Bilbao.

Also up for the award of Valencia’s Goncalo Guedes who, like his team, has enjoyed a superb start to the season, and has three goals and five assists in seven starts.

The other nominee is Cedric Bakambu for Villarreal who has eight goals in 10 appearances for the club this season.
