Barcelona rule Deulofeu out for ‘7 to 10 days’

Gerard Deulofeu may have played his last game of 2017 already, after Barcelona ruled him out for ‘7 to 10 days’ due to injury.

The winger strained knee ligaments in training meaning he will play no part against Deportivo La Coruna and he’s unlikely to be fit to face Real Madrid either.

It’s another setback for Deulofeu who hasn’t even been able to make Ernesto Valverde’s squad in recent weeks.

Rather unsurprisingly that has led to rumors he may depart in January after failing to make much of an impression since returning to Camp Nou last summer.
