Barcelona hit 100 league goals for the season against Osasuna

It’s been raining goals at Camp Nou

Barcelona have become the first club in Europe’s top five leagues to score 100 league goals this season.

Rather amazingly it was Javier Mascherano with his first ever Barcelona goal, who brought up the century, smashing home from the penalty spot and giving goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu no chance.

Indeed given Barca’s previous woes from the spot, it makes you wonder why Mascherano hadn’t stepped up before.

The Argentine’s goal was Barca’s sixth of the evening with Lionel Messi and Andre Gomes both scoring twice while Paco Alcacer was also on the scoresheet against La Liga’s bottom side.

Barca then added a seventh late on with Alcacer rounding the goalkeeper to grab his second of the night.
