But the defender says there’s no need to panic

Jordi Alba says it’s clear Barcelona need to make changes after going three games without a win in La Liga.

After a good start, Barcelona have now dropped points against Girona, Leganes and Athletic Bilbao, although Alba is not too worried by their form.

“That’s three games without winning,” he said. “It’s clear that we have to make changes to try and get three points.

”We have to look at a lot of things. But the team tried, we just lacked a little luck. We got into the box a lot and the ball didn’t want to go in.

”There’s no need for alarms. I think it’s clear we’re not satisfied with the results and that we can all give more.

“The season is just getting started. Despite the three slip-ups, we’re still up there and there’s a long way to go. We all have to give a lot more.”

Barcelona head to Wembley Stadium to take on Tottenham next in what looks to be a difficult fixture. Spurs lost their first Champions League group game to Inter Milan and will really want to get their first points on the board.
