Malcom’s agent, Junior Minguella, has been talking about the Brazilian’s situation at Barcelona in an interview with RAC1.
The 21-year-old has managed just 25 minutes so far for Barcelona this season and has also been left out of the squad altogether on occasion.
Minguella says Malcom is ready to show what he can do when he does get a chance in the first team and has not thought about leaving the club.
“It is difficult to explain. All players need adaptation and Malcom has had enough time to do it and have minutes. So far he has not had them, but when he can play he will demonstrate the quality he has.
”He’s fine and eager to play. He does not like the situation, but he is focused and very motivated.
“I do not think Malcom is not playing because it was not a request from the coach. He had to give priority to Dembélé, who started scoring goals.
“Yes it is true that Dembélé has lost his position in favuor of Coutinho. But he will have opportunities. He has not considered a change of scenery. Not at all.”

Malcom is currently away on international duty with Brazil after being called up by the Selecao for the first time.
He’ll be hoping to make his debut in either of their friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Argentina.
