Barcelona will have to make do without the services of Ivan Rakitic for their next La Liga game away at Atletico Madrid.

The Croatian was dismissed during Sunday’s 4-3 defeat to Real Betis, after picking up two yellow cards, and will now be forced to sit out the big clash at the Wanda Metropolitano.

La Liga pauses now for the international break with Barca set to take on Atletico on Saturday November 24.

Ernesto Valverde will have to make changes to his team for the clash, with Arturo Vidal looking the most likely player to come in.

Barca could also still be without Philippe Coutinho for the game. The Brazilian was ruled out for “two to three weeks” making him a doubt.
