Marc Cucurella enjoyed himself on Saturday, as he put in a superb performance in Eibar’s shock 3-0 win over Real Madrid.

The full-back had a hand in all three of his side’s goals and caused the visitors problems with his deliveries into the box from the left.

The first goal came after just 16 minutes. Cucurella had cut the ball back to Kike, but his shot was saved by Thibaut Courtois and Gonzalo Escalante pounced on the loose ball.

The second came after half-time, Cucurella finding Sergi Enrich, who fired home a shot that went in off the post.

Eibar wrapped up the win just five minutes later. Again Cucurella was involved, crossing for Enrich who found Kike for a tap-in.

It was a brilliant performance by Cucurella who joined Eibar on a season-long loan in August, the deal does includes a purchase option.

Real Madrid’s defeat means they remain four points behind Barcelona, ahead of the champions’ trip to Atletico Madrid.
