Luis Suarez reckons that Barcelona may have been a bit overconfident against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

The striker had got Barcelona off to a great start by slotting home the opener after just 11 minutes.

However, goals from Jose Pozo and Alvaro Garcia had the hosts looking set for all three points until Barca staged a dramatic comeback.

“It may be that there was an excess of confidence,” he said.

”We also have to give credit to the opponent, who are in need of points.

”The important thing was that we turned it around and got the three points, now we have to self-evaluate.”

Suarez was the key man again for Barcelona in the absence of Lionel Messi. He’s in great form currently and now got six goals and three assists in his last five games.
