Gerard Pique says Barcelona are ‘playing better football’ after Levante win

Gerard Pique says that Barcelona are playing better football after their 5-0 win over Levante on Sunday.

The centre-back completed the scoring with his third La Liga goal of the season and explained how they have improved.

“We’re playing better football recently, conceding less goals and scoring many more,” he said. “Now, we’re thinking about the next game [Celta Vigo].

”It’s tough to start like before, but the day I don’t enjoy what I do, I will leave it. We hope to do a lot of great things with this great generation of players.”

It’s now three clean sheets in a row for Ernesto Valverde’s side in La Liga, and they have restored their three-point lead at the top.

Barcelona’s final fixture of 2018 is next Saturday, when Celta Vigo are the visitors to the Camp Nou.
