Just when you thought the negative headlines surrounding Ousmane Dembele had disappeared a fresh batch arrived on Sunday.

According to RAC1, the Frenchman pitched up for training two hours late after Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Espanyol and was subsequently forced to train alone.

Obviously it’s not the first time there have been issues with Dembele. He was dropped from the squad for the win over Real Betis after missing training, although Ernesto Valverde sought to play it down at the time.

France boss Didier Deschamps has also commented on his time-keeping and said he has a habit of turning up late.

It remains to be seen if there will be any fall-out from Dembele’s latest misdemeanour, but it comes at a time when he’s been doing the business on the pitch with four assists and three goals in his last seven outings.
