Xavi has started down the road to football management as he has begun studying for his coaching badges.
The 38-year-old is on a course this week with a whole bunch of familiar faces (Hi Victor Valdes!) as he revealed in an Instagram post: “What a team! Beginning the UEFA Elite coaching course with these great colleagues, training ourselves up for the future.”

Xavi is expected to hang up his boots at the end of the season and has said he wants to pursue a coaching career.
He has previously admitted he would love to manage Barca one day, telling Le Parisien last year it would be “his dream” to coach the Camp Nou club.
There’s still a way to go before that happens but his dream is moving a step closer to becoming a reality.
