Ernesto Valverde seemed impressed with Ousmane Dembele after he scored twice in Barcelona’s 5-1 win over Villarreal on Wednesday.
Dembele set up the opener for Philippe Coutinho and then scored a tap-in late on.
However, it was his second goal that got pulses racing as he picked up possession in his own half before racing the length of the pitch and chipping the goalkeeper.
“He had a great game. He got involved around the goal and provided assists. He’s got frightening pace, as we saw with the fifth goal. We expect a lot from him and we hope that he’ll deliver. He’s a great talent.”

There’s been huge speculation over Dembele’s future recently and this game felt like an important moment in his Barcelona career.
The youngster (he turns 21 on Tuesday) offered a brilliant reminder of his qualities and hopefully we’ll see him again in the final two games of the season.
