Barcelona will start La Liga season at home to Alaves & Clasico dates revealed

The La Liga fixtures for the 2018/19 season have been released and it’s been confirmed that Barcelona will begin their title defence against Alaves at the Camp Nou.

There’s a pretty tasty opening match elsewhere in La Liga as Valencia play host to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid open up against Getafe.

Here’s a look at the full opening day fixtures:

The first Clasico of the season is due to take place at the Camp Nou on the 28th October. The return is set for the 3rd March at the Bernabeu.
