Barcelona confirmed on Monday that Malcom is fit again after recovering from an ankle injury picked up in training during the international break.

The injury was initially expected to only keep him out of action for a week, but he has been sidelined since and has only made one substitute appearance for Barcelona this season.

Despite the injury, Malcom has been called into the Brazil squad for the first time for friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Argentina in October.

He could also come into the reckoning for Wednesday night’s trip to Leganes in La Liga.

Leganes are bottom of the table after five games played. Mauricio Pellegrino’s side have lost four and drawn one so far, and Barcelona will be massive favourites to win at Butarque.
