La Liga president Javier Tebas has announced the first Clasico of the season will take place on Sunday 28th October at 16:15 CET.

Tebas appeared on Spanish radio where he confirmed the details for what will be another eagerly-anticipated clash between the two teams at the Camp Nou.

Both clubs have endured a perfect start to the season with three wins out of three. Barcelona have a slightly better goal difference and so top the early table.

The game comes just four days after Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League game against Inter Milan at the Camp Nou. Madrid will have an extra day of rest as they take on Viktoria Plzen at home on the Tuesday.
