Andres Iniesta has been talking about Barcelona and reckons their summer signings make them a better team than last year.

The Catalan giants brought in Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong and Neto in the summer transfer window but suffered a poor start with defeats to Athletic Bilbao and Granada.

Yet Iniesta reckons the new boys have made Barca a better team, and he expects them to fight for glory on all fronts once again.

“I don’t know if I’m biased about Barca, after being there for so long, knowing how to play and how to reach their goals, I still see them as different from the rest.

“The results may be better or worse, but I think they’re better than last year because of the signings they’ve made.

“They’ll fight for everything again, just as they always do.”

Barcelona’s defeat to Granada made it their worst start to a season in 25 years, but they have since responded with six straight wins to move top of La Liga and their Champions League group.
