Antoine Griezmann blamed Barcelona 3-1 defeat to Levante on Saturday on “a bit of everything” after a dismal performance from the champions.

The Frenchman was restored to the starting XI for the match but could not find the target in a surprise defeat for the champions.

Griezmann was asked about Barca’s performance after the match and says it was probably a combination of different factors.

“There is no logical explanation for these seven minutes and it could be the most worrying thing. We have to look at what we did poorly and improve on it,” he said.

“Could be a bit of everything. in the end, we weren’t up to scratch. There are three goals in less than ten minutes.

“Could be football, could be attitude, it can happen in a game. You have to make it so that it doesn’t happen again.”

Saturday’s match also saw Luis Suarez forced off with a calf problem which could mean Griezmann gets to play in a more central role against Slavia Prague next time out.
