Antoine Griezmann has been talking about his decision to leave Atletico Madrid last summer and join Barcelona.

The World Cup winner made the switch in a €120 million deal a year after snubbing a move to the Camp Nou in his infamous ‘La Decision’ documentary.

“I didn’t leave Atletico neither to win the Champions League nor to win more trophies,” he said.

”I left Atleti to learn a new style of play, new philosophies. To learn another style of football, another team. Atleti can win LaLiga and the Champions League any year.”

Griezmann has been slowly adapting to life at the Camp Nou alongside Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi and has six goals and four assists in his 20 outings so far in 2019-20.
