Real Sociedad defender Nacho Monreal says his team want to make Barcelona suffer at Anoeta when the two sides clash on Saturday.
The Catalan giants have struggled at Sociedad in the past but have won on their last two visits in La Liga and appear to have broken their ‘Anoeta curse.’
Yet Monreal is hoping his team can inflict a fourth defeat of the season on Ernesto Valverde’s side and explained how they are going to play against the Catalan giants.
“Barcelona have historically suffered against Real Sociedad and I hope it’ll be the same this year. We’re going to make it difficult for Barça and our idea is to take the game to them, not let them get on the ball. It’ll be complicated and, even though we are playing at home, we are facing one of the best teams in the world.”
