The Uruguayan struck Barca’s fourth of the night in some style just before half-time and explained what he was thinking before he hit the ball.
“I knew that I didn’t have much of an angle,” he said.
“The only option I had was to try and connect as strongly as possible with my heel to try and limit the goalkeeper’s chances of saving it. It’s one of the best goals of my career.”
