Barcelona’s win means they are unbeaten in four meetings against Real Madrid this season in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Ernesto Valverde’s side have won 5-1 and 1-0 in La Liga and drew 1-1 and won 3-0 in the Copa del Rey.
The two teams are not scheduled to play again this season, although they could still meet if they both progress in the Champions League.
