Barcelona are back in La Liga action on Saturday when they take on Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou.

Ernesto Valverde’s side head into the game after booking their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League with victory over Manchester United.

The hosts will be hoping to take another step closer to the title with all three points against a Sociedad side that have just one win in their last eight matches.

Let’s have a look at who might feature:

Defence

Valverde could make changes in defence with Nelson Semedo likely to come in for Sergi Roberto at right-back and Clement Lenglet potentially getting a rest.

There were worrying reports about Samuel Umtiti’s fitness in midweek and it remains to be seen if he is fit and available. If not then Jeison Murillo, Jean-Clair Todibo and Thomas Vermaelen will all be hoping for some rare minutes.

Jordi Alba should continue at left-back, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen completing the backline.

Midfield

Barcelona may make changes in midfield in order to freshen things up, as the team are back in La Liga action again on Tuesday away at Alaves.

Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Arthur all started against Manchester United, but it’s possible one or more may get a well-deserved afternoon off on Saturday.

Arturo Vidal could come back into the starting XI, while Carles Alena will also be hoping for some more first-team minutes.

Attack

Ousmane Dembele is back fit and could get the nod over Philippe Coutinho for this one, as he searches for some form after a lengthy injury lay-off.

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi look likely to continue up front after sitting out last weekend’s trip to Huesca, although Malcom is another option in attack for Valverde.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Vidal; Dembele, Messi, Suarez.
