Arturo Vidal may need a bigger trophy cabinet after his first season at Barcelona as the Chilean closes in on winning a league title for the eighth season in a row.
Barcelona could clinch La Liga this weekend, and if they do it will mean Vidal has finished the season as a league champion in every season since 2012.
The midfielder won four Serie A crowns with Juventus, before moving to Bayern Munich and picking up three Bundesliga titles.

Winning La Liga would also see him win the league in a third different European country, he also claimed the Chilean league three times before signing for Bayer Leverkusen in 2007.
All of which is remarkably impressive from the 31-year-old, who has been an increasingly influential figure at Barcelona after a bit of a sticky start.
He was hardly a popular signing when Barcelona announced in August that he’d arrived on a three-year deal. The move came out of the blue and Vidal’s style, age and injury record all came under scrutiny.
And the Chilean also didn’t seem too happy in the early part of the season. A few angry posts on social media showed his frustration at a lack of game time, but he’s gone on to make 45 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.
Goals against Real Madrid and Real Betis have also helped his cause, and he’s also managed a pretty decent figure of five assists in La Liga.

He’s become a crucial member of the squad, and it was little surprise to see reports recently that Barcelona are already thinking about activating a one-year extension in his contract.
It seems that Vidal is now settled at Barcelona, is content with his role as a rotation player and has packed his angry emojis away.
