Arturo Vidal suspended for Barcelona’s clash against Atletico Madrid

Barcelona will have to cope without Arturo Vidal for Saturday’s La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou.

The midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Villarreal on Tuesday, ruling him out of the top of the table clash.

The news will be a blow to Ernesto Valverde as Vidal has been in good form and has proven to be an important signing this season after joining from Bayern Munich.

It’s not certain Vidal would have started the game, but he may well have come on at some point, but Valverde will now have to cope without the Chilean.
