Barcelona striker Luis Suarez forced off with injury against Athletic

Barcelona suffered another injury blow on Friday as Luis Suarez was forced off with a problem in the first half of their La Liga opener against Athletic Bilbao.

The Uruguay international had treatment on the pitch for what looked like a calf problem but was then replaced by Rafinha on 37 minutes.

Suarez seems to pick up the injury shortly after hitting the post for Barcelona after being presented with a glorious opportunity after a poor backpass.

It remains to be seen how serious the injury is but it comes at a time when Lionel Messi is also sidelined after picking up a problem in training.
