Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde said Antoine Griezmann must get more involved after a quiet debut for his new club against Athletic Bilbao on Friday.
The France international had few sights of goal throughout the 90 minutes, and Valverde offered his view after the defeat.
“If he is close to the box he can finish, he moves well, but you have to dominate the game for that to happen,” he said.
”Putting him on the left, we knew that he will look for goal, but we have a left-back and players who can take the game.
”We expect a lot from all the players and he has to look to get in the game more.”

Griezmann was not the only player who failed to shine on Friday night on a pretty poor showing by the Spanish champions. They struggled in attack without the injured Lionel Messi and also lost Luis Suarez to injury in the first half.
