Luis Suarez seems to have ruled himself out of Barcelona’s next La Liga match on Sunday against Real Betis at the Camp Nou.
The striker picked up a calf problem in the season opener against Athletic Bilbao on Friday, but Barcelona have refused to say how long he will be out for.
Reports have suggested he faces a few weeks on the sidelines and may not return until after the first international break.
According to Sport, Suarez told reporters it would be “impossible” for him to feature against Real Betis which is not too much of a surprise.
Barcelona will hope to have Lionel Messi back by then, but they will also be without Ousmane Dembele who is out for five weeks.
