Samuel Eto’o has been joking about former team-mate Xavi and said “I’ll kill him!” if he does not manage Barcelona one day in the future.

Xavi has spoken previously about his desire to return to the Camp Nou one day as boss and is currently in his first managerial role with Qatari side Al Sadd.

The midfielder would be a popular choice if he were to manage Barcelona, and Eto’o would be more than happy to see him in the dugout.

“He is the f*cking boss in Qatar and in Spain,” he said.

Xavi has been enjoying himself as manager of Al Sadd this season. He has already won his first title with the club, claiming the Qatar Super Cup in August, and has also guided his team into the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League.
