Cesc Fabregas has been talking about Lionel Messi and reckons he’s seen the GOAT do “things you wouldn’t believe.”

The former Barcelona midfielder gave AS a pretty interesting interview where he was full of praise for the 32-year-old.

“I think that’s probably impossible [for there to be another player like Messi]. We’ve seen the likes of Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, amazing players, but Messi has been the best for 15 years.

“He’s in his 17th season and he’s been the best since he was 18 years old. I’ve seen things you wouldn’t believe.

“Every three days he scores goals, he heads off to play for Argentina, he come back jet-lagged and scores a hat-trick… that’s not normal, believe me.”

Messi has yet to feature for Barcelona this season after picking up a calf injury in pre-season, and he’s obviously been missed by the team in their opening fixtures.

The captain is yet to return to full training but hopefully we should get to see him back in action for the club after the international break.
