Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet says his team need to “erase” their painful defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and go on and pick up some silverware.
The Catalan giants were hammered 8-2 by Bayern in August which ensured a dismal 2019-20 season ended in embarrassing style.
It’s the third season in a row that Barca have suffered a painful defeat in Europe’s top competition, but Lenglet wants his side to dust themselves down and move on.
“We have to lift ourselves up and erase that,” he said.
“It’s part of a footballer’s career. Now, we need to challenge for titles with Barcelona.”
