Real Sociedad boss Imanol Alguacil offered his thoughts on Barcelona ahead of Wednesday’s La Liga trip to the Camp Nou.
Alguacil’s men have enjoyed a strong start to the season and are nine points ahead of Barca in the table, but the Real Sociedad coach is wary of the threat facing his team.
The 49-year-old also feels Barca will go a long way if they can get Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi hitting top form at the same time.
“I see Barcelona are in a strong moment. They may be inconsistent, but that’s due to not taking chances. In all the matches they play, they are creating enough chances to win.
“What happens is they aren’t always hitting the target, but there have been matches where they scored five against Real Betis or four against Villarreal.
“I think [Griezmann] is creating a lot, even if he could score more goals. Then I think Lionel Messi is still the best player in LaLiga, the one who causes the most disruption. Barcelona will be unstoppable as they both hit form.”

Wednesday’s game sees Griezmann come up against his former team again. The Frenchman has scored five goals so far this season for Barca but has now gone three matches without finding the back of the net.
