Barcelona head to newly-promoted Cadiz on Saturday hoping to make it four wins in a row in all competitions.
Ronald Koeman should have a fairly fresh squad after resting key players for the midweek trip to Ferencvaros in the Champions League which resulted in a 3-0 win.
Let’s look at who might feature:
Marc-Andre ter Stegen should return in goal after missing the midweek trip to Hungary, but Koeman still has decisions to make over his injury-hit backline.
Ronald Araujo and Samuel Umtiti could both be available, but Koeman may decide to keep faith with young Oscar Mingueza who has started Barca’s last three games.
Clement Lenglet came through the match against Ferecvaros unscatched and should continue in central defence, while Jordi Alba looks set to feature at left-back.
Barcelona’s midfield injury problems have cleared up with Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, and Miralem Pjanic all battling for a starting spot on Saturday. Carles Alena and Riqui Puig both enjoyed minutes in midweek but will surely start on the bench.
Lionel Messi and Philippe Coutinho will return to the squad after also missing the Champions League trip, and Koeman has plenty of options in attack with his team having scored 11 times without reply in their last three games.
Ousmane Dembele will be pushing for a start after a fine showing in midweek, while Antoine Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite look undroppable on current form.
Pedri also looks a good shout for a starting spot. The 18-year-old seems to be a favorite of Koeman’s but did get a rare break in midweek and didn’t feature against Ferencvaros.
Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Dest, Mingueza, Lenglet, Alba; De Jong, Busquets; Messi, Griezmann, Pedri; Braithwaite.
