Ansu Fati may only be 17 years old but he’s no stranger to breaking records and was as it again on Sunday night.
The teenager scored twice in two minutes at the Camp Nou to put Barca 2-0 up against Levante and become the youngest player to score a La Liga brace this century.
1 - @FCBarcelona_es' Ansu Fati (17 years and 94 days) has become the youngest player to score a brace in @LaLigaEN in the 21st century, breaking the record previously held by Juanmi Jiménez against Real Zaragoza in September 2010 (17y 115d). The first goal came on 30 minutes after a brilliant pass from Lionel Messi. Fati raced on to the ball and put the ball between Aitor Fernandez’s legs.
Fati’s second goal came two minutes later and also came from a Messi pass. This time he beat Aitor at his near post with the ball again going through the goalkeeper’s legs.
The goals mean that Fati has now scored five goals for Barcelona this season in all competitions in his first full campaign with the first team.
