Barcelona manager Quique Setien described his team as “good and strong” after Saturday’s 1-0 win over Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou.
A late Lionel Messi penalty gave the hosts all three points and saw them return to the top of the table ahead of Real Madrid’s trip to Real Betis on Sunday.
Setien seemed pretty happy with the win and said he knew it would be a tough game against the Copa del Rey finalists.
“I’m in charge of the team, that’s what I’m concerned with. And the team is good, strong morale, it’s true we came from a painful defeat but I see the team as good and strong.
“We knew that it would be a very complicated game. La Real, I think, had gone six games winning in a row including at the Bernabeu. They are a team that works with the ball well and when they overcome your press have players up front of the quality to do you damage. Meanwhile we controlled the play in many phases and generated many many chances.”

Barcelona now have a week to prepare for their next game against Real Mallorca at the Iberostar Stadium. They won the reverse fixture 5-2 back in December.
