Rafinha scored twice for Celta Vigo on Sunday as Oscar Garcia’s side smashed Alaves in La Liga at Balaídos.
Former Barcelona defender Jeison Murillo opened the scoring after 14 minutes before Iago Aspas doubled the hosts’ lead from the penalty spot.
Alaves then went down to 10 men when Aguirregabiria was sent off for a high challenge on Rafinha just before the half-hour mark.
The 27-year-old was able to continue and got on the scoresheet in some style five minutes before half-time.
Denis Suarez teed up Rafinha to curl a lovely effort past goalkeeper Roberto to make it 3-0.
The Barcelona loanee added his second of the match a minute later but did not come out for the second half and was replaced by Nolito.
The substitute scored Celta’s fifth late in the second half from the penalty spot before Santi Mina wrapped up a big win with number six.
Barcelona will catch up with Rafinha on Saturday when the two sides meet in La Liga at Balaidos.
