Athletic boss Gaizka Garitano has said his team must take their chances if they are to beat Barcelona on Tuesday.

The Basque side have not won at the Camp Nou since 2001 but have beaten Barca this season in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

Garitano spoke about the Catalan giants in his pre-match press conference and said he does have a plan for Tuesday night.

“We have a plan that we’re going to work hard on,” he said.

“We need to our players to know what they’re doing and to do things well. When we have chances, we must take them.

“We have a nice challenge tomorrow. It will be a difficult game but the last three times we played Barça, we won twice and drew once.”

Athletic have drawn with Atletico and Eibar and beaten Real Betis since La Liga resumed, while Barca’s draw with Sevilla followed wins over Leganes and Real Mallorca.
