Barcelona without Frenkie de Jong and Arthur for Real Valladolid trip

Barcelona will be without both Frenkie de Jong and Arthur for Saturday’s La Liga clash against Real Valladolid on Saturday.

De Jong returned to training this week but is not quite ready to make his return, while Arthur has picked up a problem ahead of the match.

Quique Setien spoke about both players in his pre-match press conference on Friday lunchtime ahead of the game.

The coach said De Jong was “close” to making the squad but added they did not particularly want to risk him, while Arthur has a “small illness.”
