France boss Didier Deschamps say he’s not worried by Antoine Griezmann situation at Barcelona and thinks he has the mentality to succeed at the Camp Nou.

The striker has come under scrutiny in his first season at the Camp Nou after failing to have the impact expected of a player who cost the club €120 million.

Griezmann has still managed 15 goals in all competitions for Barca this season, and Deschamps say you can’t argue with his quality.

“His situation does not worry me. I have no doubt over his abilities. They are inarguable. All players have a period in a year where things are maybe a bit more difficult. He has the mentality to deal with it.”

Barcelona will be without Griezmann for their last two matches against Osasuna and Alaves because of a quadriceps injury, but he is expected to be fit for the visit of Napoli in August.
