Lionel Messi has once again finished as La Liga’s top goalscorer to pick up the Pichichi Trophy for a record seventh time.

The Barcelona captain finished top of the pile on 25 goals even after a campaign where he gave everyone a head start by missing the beginning of the season through injury.
Messi’s two goals against Alaves took him to the 25-mark for the 11th season in a row and he also finished up with a record 21 assists as well.
