Arturo Vidal has been described as being the “heart” of Barcelona by former boss, Tata Martino.
The Chile international scored eight goals in La Liga for Barcelona in 2019-20 and has become a regular in the starting XI under Quique Setien.
Martino has been full of praise for the 33-year-old and said he thinks he could stay at the club next season.
“Today, I see Vidal as the heart of the team for what he gives, but also for the how he works, gets in the box and scores,” he said.
“I see him recovering from last year, which was not good. This has been a great year for Arturo and for me he could definitely stay at Barca.”

There’s still plenty of speculation about Vidal’s future given he’s heading into the final year of his contract. A move to Inter has been rumored which would see him link up again with Antonio Conte.
