Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas has praised Barcelona’s Ansu Fati ahead of the league clash between the two clubs on Thursday.
Fati played a starring role in Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Villarreal on Sunday, scoring twice and winning a penalty for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Aspas knows just how special the teenager is and has spoken about just how impressed he’s been by the youngster.
“Ansu’s given several exhibitions like the one on Sunday against Villarreal,” he said. “I hope he maintains it for the good of Spanish football and the national team.
“He’s started this season on fire, but what surprises me most is his self-confidence, playing for such a big team without fear. If he takes on a player twice and loses the ball twice, he will still try it a third time.”

Celta have started the season with two draws and a win but won’t lack for confidence against Barcelona on Thursday. The Catalan giants have struggled at Balaidos in recent seasons and haven’t won there since April 2015.
