Barcelona look like they will have to make do without Pedri, Ronald Araujo, and Ousmane Dembele for Sunday’s Clasico against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
The trio will also sit out Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev and will not be rushed back for the visit of Los Blancos, according to multiple reports from Spain.
Dembele is yet to feature this season after undergoing surgery during the summer and is still a little way off being able to return despite being back in training.
Araujo is currently out with a hamstring injury suffered during international duty with Uruguay, and Barca are said to be a little worried that he’s now sustained a few muscle problems since breaking into the first team.
There’s no clear date yet when Araujo might be ready to come back but he’s currently training alone and looks set for at least another week on the sidelines.
Pedri is also a bit of a worry after suffering a relapse of a thigh problem. The midfielder insisted after signing his new contract that it wasn’t related to his brutal schedule over the last 12 months or so but Barca do need to be careful with the 18-year-old.
