Barcelona play their final fixture of the 2020-21 season on Saturday away at already-relegated Eibar.

It’s a meaningless fixture for both teams with Barca unable to win the title or even finish second, while Eibar’s fate was also sealed last weekend.

The visitors will be without a few players for various reasons so there are likely to be quite a few changes to the starting XI.

And so for the final time this season let’s look at who might feature:

Defense

Neto should take over from Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal with the German undergoing treatment on a knee problem. It’s likely to be the Brazilian’s last game in a Barcelona shirt with a summer move on the cards.

There will be no Clement Lenglet for this one because of his red card against Celta Vigo which may give Barca the chance to put Samuel Umtiti in the shop window in what could also be his last game for the Catalans.

Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo could also feature, while Oscar Mingueza should be available again after missing out last weekend to help with Barca B’s promotion push.

Midfield

There should be changes in midfield too with Pedri already on the beach following a very busy season for the teenager who’s been a virtual ever present.

Ilaix Moriba could start again in midfield, while there’s also a chance Riqui Puig might get the nod after coming on for Pedri at half-time of the defeat to Celta Vigo last time out.

Frenkie de Jong will return from suspension for this one and take up his usual spot with Sergio Buquets also set to feature for the visitors.

Attack

It’s likely to be Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi in attack again for Barcelona. Messi is another player with an uncertain future but let’s hope this is not the last time we see the GOAT in a Barcelona shirt.

There’s been plenty of talk about Griezmann’s future this week with speculation about a possible swap with Joao Felix. The Frenchman has scored 19 times this season for Barca in all competitions but hasn’t netted in his last three outings.

Possible XI: Neto; Araujo, Pique, Umtiti; Dembele, Busquets, De Jong, Puig, Alba; Messi, Greizmann.
