Barcelona have confirmed that Sergi Roberto picked up a hamstring strain during Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Olympiacos.
The midfielder was substituted late in the first half of the game after suffering the problem, with Gerard Deulofeu coming on in his place.
Roberto is set to have further tests on the injury on Wednesday to determine the extent of the damage.
The injury means Roberto is a major doubt to face Sevilla at the weekend but after that there is an international break which means his injury may not have come at the worst time.
We can expect an update tomorrow and hopefully Sergi will not be out for too long with Barca set to face Leganes, Juventus and Valencia following the international break.
