It’s that time of the week again, Ernesto Valverde has faced the press ahead of tomorrow’s big clash with Juventus in the Champions League in Turin.

The boss spoke about tomorrow’s opponents and also about a range of players.

Here are the best bits...

Valverde on Juventus

We expect the best version of Juventus. They are very strong at home, they are very good at attacking and they create a lot of chances. We know that they need to win tomorrow and we do too, we want to win of course. We expect a great game, a tough game, like they always are here. We are hungry to go out and play.

There will be a battle of styles. They will try to win the battle for possession, us too. We will try to get the result we need because of the team we are and we hope things go well. It will be a very complicated game.

Valverde on Messi’s renewal

I don't know how important the photo is. He's with us, that's what we care about. He travelled here with us and we're not going to think much past that.

Valverde on Dybala

He's very important, they have important players, if he gets going and Pjanic and Higuain and Cuadrado and these guys start to connect the dots, we are going to have to cover our bases. They have a strong squad.

Valverde on January signings

That doesn’t interest us right now. We are not thinking much beyond qualifying for the last 16. We are not mathematically there yet. We need to do that tomorrow. Looking at the transfer market, Barcelona, Juvetus and other teams are always looking to improve. We'll see what the possibilities are.

Valverde on Vermaelen

He played games with the Belgian national team so I think he is prepared and we have two games in four days so I think he is ready.

We do have to find other players because Pique is suspended for the weekend but we have three centre-backs for tomorrow and really that’s the most important game. I think we're covered.
