Barcelona made light work of Champions League Group D, topping the table ahead of Juventus and going unbeaten with just one goal conceded along the way.

Ernesto Valvderde’s side go into the knockout stages as group winners and will hope for a decent tie, when the draw for the last 16 is made on Monday in Nyon.

However, there are some potentially tricky opponents the Blaugrana could face - here’s a look at who they could draw.

Chelsea

Antonio Conte’s side finished in second place, level on points with Roma, in a tough Group D, which saw Atletico Madrid dumped out into the Europa League.

The reigning Premier League are currently third in the table in England, three points behind Manchester United and 11 behind Manchester City.

However, they have real quality in their ranks with the likes of Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata has adapted to life in London well, meaning they would be one of the tougher draws Barca could get.

They can also only draw Barca, Besiktas or Paris Saint-Germain, which makes this tie a real possibility.

FC Basel

The Swiss side finished behind Manchester United in Group A, winning four and losing two of their six games.

The highlight of their campaign was undoubtedly a 1-0 win over Jose Mourinho’s men in Switzerland, although the Red Devils dominated the game before Michael Lang scored an 89th minute winner.

Bayern Munich

The Bundesliga champions would also provide a stiff test, they finished in second place behind Paris Saint-Germain (level on points) but did beat the Parisiens 3-1 in the final matchday.

Bayern have improved since Jupp Heynckes replaced Carlo Ancelotti and, like Chelsea, this is probably a draw Barcelona would rather avoid.

Shakhtar Donetsk

Shakhtar Donetsk may look like a decent draw on paper but don’t forget the Ukrainians finished ahead of Napoli to book their place in the knockout stages.

A final day win over Manchester City, who had rested plenty of first teamers, confirmed their spot but they also beat Napoli 2-1 in their opening fixture.

FC Porto

Porto complete the list of options after they finished as runners-up in Group G behind Besiktas who had a brilliant campaign, and ahead of RB Leipzig and Monaco, who really didn’t.

Domestically, Porto are top of the table, level on points with Sporting, who Barca faced in the group stages and beat 2-0 at Camp Nou on Tuesday.

As group winners Barcelona will be away from home in the first leg with the return fixture at the Camp Nou.

The first legs are scheduled for the 13/14 February with the second legs on the 20/21 February.
