We have an official whistle-blower for the next Barcelona match in Europe. And he doesn't bring good memories for us...

UEFA assigned Szymon Marciniak from Poland to oversee the quarter-final first leg between Barcelona and Juventus on Tuesday at Juventus Stadium. This will be Marciniak's sixth assignment in the Champions League this season.

The Polish referee has been one of the best in Europe this season, and is quickly becoming one of the top officials in the world, knowing how to manage matches on the disciplinary side (3.69 yellow cards per game) and getting most of his decisions right.

The only problem with Marciniak as the referee for Tuesday's match is that he was the man with the whistle when Barça lost 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes last month. Of course, we went on to win the second leg 6-1 at Camp Nou and pulled off the greatest comeback ever, but if we lose 4-0 against Juventus, it'll be a lot harder to overturn this one.

This is a very good referee and it's unlikely we'll see any controversies, but I'm really terrified. What if we lose big again just because this dude is at the stadium? HELP US, GOD, HELP US!
