UEFA took the time on Thursday to draw the 32 teams that qualified for this season’s Champions League into eight groups, and Barcelona can look forward to a tricky path to the knockout rounds.
The Blaugrana have been drawn into Group D and will face Juventus, Olympiacos and Sporting CP. This is a little bit of a tough draw, but Barça are definitely favorites to advance alongside Juventus. The Italian giants beat the Catalans in the quarter-finals last season, and it definitely won’t be fun to face them twice in the group stage. Barça will also go to Greece and Portugal, which will be nice trips but won’t really give us tough matches.
