Barcelona seemingly can’t make up their minds about whether to include Lionel Messi in their Champions League squad for the clash against Inter Milan on Tuesday.
The captain was named in the initial squad on Sunday, with the proviso that he hadn’t actually been given the medical all-clear yet.
The club then provided an update on the squad list in the early hours of Monday morning with the captain’s name omittted.
However, it seems this was a mistake, as another squad list arrived a few hours later with Messi’s name back on it.

So while it seemed initially that Messi would not be risked against Inter, it now appears that he will at least make the trip to the San Siro.
Whether he will play or not is another matter. Sport reckon that he’s desperate to play against Inter, but there seems absolutely no reason at all for him to be risked against Inter.
